General Provisions
Regulus, obrt za proizvodnju, trgovinu i usluge (hereinafter: Regulus), as a provider of information society services and seller, defines with these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: Terms) the order process, contract formation, delivery, payment, and complaints procedure for products from its assortment, which are available through the online shop at www.optikazlatarnavitic.com (hereinafter: Webshop).
A Customer is any natural or legal person who, with or without registration, orders a product from Regulus via the Webshop and whose order is accepted according to these Terms. A site Visitor is any person accessing the Webshop via electronic communication. By using the Webshop, the Customer and/or Visitor accepts these Terms, including delivery conditions, and confirms their consent when placing a product order and signing the delivery document on receipt of purchased products.
Regulus reserves the right to amend or supplement these Terms at any time; amended terms will be published on the Webshop. By registering, the Customer/Visitor further confirms acceptance of the Terms and is enabled to view the offer, create wish lists, add products to the cart, and place orders.
A user account or registration can be created only for one person, and sharing user account information with third parties is not allowed. Customers and Visitors are responsible for safeguarding their user account access data and for all unauthorized activity performed via that account. Using someone else’s personal data for registration or user account creation on the Webshop is not permitted. The user acknowledges the possibility of service interruption or events beyond Regulus's control and accepts Regulus bears no liability for potential data loss during internet transmission.
Regulus implements appropriate technical and security measures for data protection on the Webshop and for registered users’ accounts. Regulus reserves the right to modify or terminate services or any subpages that are part of the WebShop at any time without prior notice and will not be liable for any consequences arising from such changes. Such modifications enter into force upon publication on these web pages.
Regulus likewise reserves the right to change, restrict, or cease provision of the WebShop service at any time without obligation of prior notice, including restricting access entirely or partially for users who violate these or any other applicable terms.
Regulus does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information and content available at www.optikazlatarnavitic.com and reserves the right for errors in product description and presentation.
Purchase Agreement Formation
The purchase contract between the Customer and REGULUS is considered concluded at the moment Regulus accepts the order and sends the Customer confirmation of order acceptance to the email address provided during ordering.
Visitors and Customers acknowledge and agree that Regulus is not obligated to accept an order if it does not meet the conditions set by these or any other terms published at www.optikazlatarnavitic.com.
Upon ordering, the Customer and Visitor, via these Terms (accepted prior to forming a distance contract), are informed about: the name, registration number, OIB, headquarters, phone, and email of Regulus; the offered products and their main features; retail price including taxes and other charges, and price calculation method; costs of delivery; costs of distance communication for contract formation; payment method and conditions; delivery time and conditions; complaint handling; unilateral contract termination conditions and process; contract termination form; situations where the right to termination does not exist; material defect liability; provided warranties; validity period of offers/prices; contract duration and cancellation conditions; merchant’s rules on out-of-court dispute resolution and compensation mechanisms the Customer may use.
Additionally, on ordering, the Customer and Visitor are notified via these Terms about the purposes and bases of personal data processing, retention periods, and all relevant information according to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
A contract between Customer and Regulus is a unique contract, executed by the delivery of products by Regulus and payment by the Customer in accordance with these Terms, unless terminated before execution.
Order Process
Customers must be legally adult and capable. Regulus bears no responsibility for damages if a minor or a person of limited legal capacity concludes a contract without necessary approval.
Orders via the Webshop may be placed every day, 24/7. Products are ordered by confirming the “complete order” option.
After submitting an order, Regulus will notify the Customer or Visitor of order receipt via email. When a product is ready for delivery, the Customer will receive confirmation of order acceptance and expected delivery date to the same email.
Registration and User Account Creation
Any natural or legal person may open a user account. Registration at Web Shop Optika Zlatarna Vitić gives the user login credentials (username and password). Registration is not mandatory, and currently, registered users receive no advantages over unregistered users.
A user account keeps track of desired products and enables faster checkout. Accounts can be opened by adult and minor persons, but only adults and fully legally capable persons may place orders. For minors, ordering can be completed by legal guardians, and persons of limited capacity may contract purchases with their legal representative’s approval.
User accounts may not be transferred. An account created for a legal entity may only be used by the person indicated as responsible during registration.
It is strictly forbidden to: use another’s data, falsely represent another person/entity, share account information, use someone else’s data for registration, or use the Webshop for sending or encouraging spam.
Users must provide accurate, valid, and complete data and update them as necessary. Regulus reserves the right, at its own discretion, to refuse registration or terminate an account for rule violations without compensation. Regulus may restrict access from IP addresses used for violations of these Terms.
After successful registration, users receive an email with instructions for account and email confirmation. Users are responsible for safeguarding their access credentials and liable for any damage from unauthorized account use.
Ordering without registration requires all provided information to be correct, and users accept these terms.
EU platform for online dispute resolution is authorized for resolving online disputes.
Product and Service Information
Regulus aims to provide clear and accurate information on products available for order. However, product availability is informational and may change due to high demand, so Regulus assumes no liability for errors. If a product is unavailable, Regulus will notify the Customer by email, who can then choose a replacement or cancel the order, receiving a refund.
Product images are for illustration only and may not reflect actual product appearance; complaints based on appearance will not be accepted. Although Regulus strives to publish accurate information, it is not liable for any inaccuracies or incompleteness.
Prices
Product prices on the Webshop are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Prices apply to all payment methods at the order time. Regulus reserves the right to unilaterally cancel a contract if a wrong product price is listed by mistake. Regulus may change prices at any time without notice. Price changes do not affect orders already paid but not yet shipped.
Payment
Payment for products and delivery can be made by:

Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay): Enter card details during checkout. Data is protected by advanced security measures.

Cash on delivery: Payment in cash upon delivery.

Internet banking: Payment through any bank supporting this method. After order confirmation, Regulus will send payment details via email.

Payment slip: Payment via slip through banks, FINA, or Croatian Post offices. After confirmation, Regulus will provide payment info; payment must be completed within 3 days. On payment proof receipt, the order will ship to the Customer's address.
Payment is considered made upon payment receipt in case of cash on delivery, or upon receipt of an irrevocable payment order by the payment service provider.
The invoice will be delivered with the order or sent electronically.
Payment Security Statement
When making payments on our webshop, you are using CorvusPay – an advanced system for secure online credit and debit card payments.
The CorvusPay system ensures complete confidentiality of your card and personal information from the moment you enter them into the CorvusPay payment form. Payment information is transmitted in encrypted form from your web browser directly to the bank that issued your payment card. Our store never comes into contact with complete payment card information. Additionally, the data is inaccessible even to CorvusPay system employees. The isolated core independently transfers and manages sensitive data, keeping it completely secure.
The payment data entry form is secured using SSL encryption with the highest level of reliability. All stored data is additionally protected through encryption using cryptographic devices certified according to the FIPS 140-2 Level 3 standard. CorvusPay complies with all security requirements prescribed by leading card brands and operates in accordance with the PCI DSS Level 1 standard – the highest security standard in the payment card industry. When paying with cards included in the 3-D Secure program, your bank additionally verifies your identity using a token or password.
CorvusPay considers all collected information confidential and treats it accordingly. Information is used exclusively for the purposes for which it is intended. Your sensitive data is completely secure, and its privacy is guaranteed by the most modern security mechanisms. Only the data necessary for performing online payment transactions is collected, in accordance with prescribed and demanding procedures for online payments.
Security controls and operational procedures applied to the CorvusPay infrastructure ensure the immediate reliability of the CorvusPay system. In addition, strict access control, regular security monitoring, detailed network vulnerability checks, and the planned implementation of information security measures continuously maintain and improve the security level of the system by protecting your card data.
Delivery
Delivery cost within Croatia is the same for all orders, regardless of weight, volume, or location. Packages are delivered via our delivery service, and estimated delivery is 1–3 business days after order confirmation.
Order tracking is available via the tracking system with the shipment number provided by email after handing over to the delivery service.
Delivery is on business days only. Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays are not considered business days.
If unable to deliver at the customer’s address, the courier will leave information about pickup arrangements.
The delivery cost is calculated at checkout, and the Regulus system generates an order summary showing product and delivery costs.
The delivery price is shown in the cart, below the total product price. Within Croatia, the cost is 5.00 EUR (VAT included).
If Regulus cannot deliver any ordered product, it will contact you by phone or email to arrange a replacement or order cancellation. Remaining products will be delivered as planned.
Delivery costs are calculated according to the current service rate and included in the total order cost.
All products are carefully checked before handing over to the delivery service and shipped in suitable packaging to prevent damage. The Customer must inspect the shipment on receipt, report any damage to the courier and Regulus, and refuse damaged shipments. Signing for receipt confirms that the product was inspected and accepted without complaint.
NOTE: Delivery prices are regularly updated, but discrepancies may occur due to unannounced changes.
Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection
Personal data collected via the Webshop are processed by Regulus as the data controller, committed to confidentiality and legal compliance.
Voluntarily provided personal data are collected, processed, and used for contract fulfillment, including order verification, payment, fraud prevention, and informing about news and offers.
Customers and users are required to provide accurate and complete data, especially when registering. Violation of this obligation may result in access restriction or denial of service. Registration or purchase via the site implies acceptance of these terms and data processing for stated purposes. Processing for contract execution cannot be restricted or revoked unless the contract is terminated before execution.
Regulus will not disclose or transmit customers’ personal information to third parties except for fulfilling the purchase contract (which may involve financial institutions for payments, delivery, or IT maintenance partners). Data may also be provided on legal request to authorities.
By registering or filling out a remote purchase form, the customer/user gives Regulus explicit consent to data processing for contract execution and user account storage. This includes acknowledgment of the terms and consent for transmitting data to third parties involved in contract execution (e.g., banks or delivery services).
Users may withdraw data processing consent for storage or other purposes at any time. Regulus will retain data only as long as necessary for contractual purposes, archiving documentation in accordance with legal regulations. Data collected during registration will be held until the user withdraws consent.
All appropriate measures are taken to ensure data security, including protection from unauthorized or illegal processing and accidental loss or destruction.
Users have the right to access their data, request correction or deletion, restrict processing, object, and request data portability. Contact Regulus by email or in writing to their address to exercise these rights.

Customer Complaints
Customers have the right to submit complaints about products or services provided via the Webshop by email: info@optikazlatarnavitic.com or at Regulus’s registered address: Glavička ulica 25, 21230 Sinj.
Regulus will promptly acknowledge the complaint and respond in writing within 15 days. Customers also have the right to initiate the out-of-court dispute resolution process under Croatian law via: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Product Returns and Complaints
If a customer wishes to exchange a product, contact Regulus at +385 99 2252 391, Mon–Fri 8 AM-8 PM.
Products are packed to prevent normal delivery damage. Upon receipt, if the package has visible material damage or defects, the customer should refuse delivery, and the courier will return it to Regulus (stating it was damaged or defective).
If material defects are found after receipt, claims may be submitted in writing by email, mail, or phone. For justified complaints, contract termination with refund or product exchange is allowed.
If the complaint concerns damage or malfunction, return the item to the above address for inspection. If damage is found to result from intentional or accidental mechanical intervention after delivery, the complaint will be rejected, and the customer liable for damage.
Under Croatian Consumer Protection Act, the customer can complain about material defects appearing within a month if not present at delivery, with merchant paying for expert assessment.
If a defect appears within 6 months, the cost is paid by the consumer or merchant depending on the result; the merchant is not liable after 6 months.
Products under complaint must be purchased via the webshop and, where possible, be accompanied by the original invoice.
All complaints must be properly packaged; inadequately packaged or visibly damaged complaints during transport will be returned to the sender at their expense.
